Examples Of My Work

"Frustration"

Part of a set of three. This particular set is illustrating the feeling of being trapped, or being restricted, also with the idea of lack of emotional and physical communication. (Main source of inspiration - Rankin)

"Girl With a Gun"

Part of a set of photographs based around the idea of horror movies although interpretation is left completely up to the viewer - I wanted this to be subject to thought and discussion amongst people. (Main inspiration - David Lachapelle)

"Something's Cooking"

"She Fell Off The Face Of The Earth"

Part of a set of three. Illustrating the decent into a dark and 'unnatural world' It's about release, letting yourself go and experiencing a whole new world. (Main inspiration - Rankin/Ryan Mcginely)

"We Love England"

Based on the concept of being 'trapped' and 'frustrated' sexually these next images do not display this as clearly as I would have liked, it just felt more natural to do a simple shoot.

"Bourdin's Influence"

Part of a set based around the works of Guy Bourdin and the idea of using legs and shoes as the main focus.

"I'll Be Gone By Morning"

Inspired by an image of Nino Muñoz and an aspect of the TV series 'Sex and the city' these photographs are about dreaming of getting away, escaping from your frustrations and not giving into temptations.

"Taylor Momsen"

This photograph was taken at a 'Pretty Reckless' live set in London. I often find myself watching live bands and will always try to get some good shots, this is my most successful and interesting.

"Falling From Grace"

This is from a personal project about opening up yourself for the world to see and judge, with no prospect of good feedback. It's about feeling delicate and vulnerable but feeling a sense of freedom at the same time.

This photograph demonstrates the feeling of a weight being lifted, a sense of independence and freedom from secrets and deception, even from yourself.
